Regular Band Practices are held on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. in the Sedbergh School Band Room. A further tuition class for Band members is held in the Sedbergh School Band Room on Monday evenings, from 6.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. In addition beginners tuition for children is available in the URC Hall on Saturday mornings between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon, when individual guidance is given by Town Band members. The class also gives opportunity for ensemble playing and brief performances in those Town Band concerts which take place in Sedbergh. Instruments are provided free and a nominal fee of £1 per week is payable into the Town Band funds. Any parents who would like their child to join the class should contact Hilary Hodge or Alan Lewis at one of the email addresses or telephone numbers given on the Home page. Committee Meetings are held at 6.30 p.m. in the Band Room on the first Friday of each Month. It has been decided that the recordings for the Christmas CD will be postponed until the New Year.
